- The Matins "Morning Incense"
The Prime "Agbia" ---> Morning Doxology ---> Morning Incense
The morning service is instituted to commemorate the hour at which Jesus
Christ rose from the dead.
The difference between evening and morning incense:
Evening incense -----> Litany for Departes
Morning incense -----> Sick and Travelers
On Sunday and feast days, the church replase the litany for travelers with
the litany for the oblations.
As the church assumes that during these days, all of its children attend
the church prayer and celebration bringing their oblations and offerings.
Then, the morning incense prayer follows in the manner of the evening
incense....
+ The prayer of "efnoty Nai Nan"
+ The Gospel.
+ the 5 short litanies.
+ Absolution and finally the blessing.
